we will start this Morocco Desert Trip from Marrakech to Merzouga, through the High Atlas mountains via Ouarzazate . visit the UNISCO World Heritage site, Roses Valley . dades valley .overnight in the Dades valley , we will continue our way to tenghir , down to Merzouga desert, Camel trekking . overnight in the berber tents at the middle of the dunes,after breakfast will come again in back in our road to Marrakech .
Morocco Desert Trip 3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga
1st day : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades valley
After we met at the place that we had agreed upon, we will star our Morocco Desert Trip to southeast through the High Atlas via Tizi-n-Tichka pass, with far-reaching overview from the mountains, heading to the ancient High Atlas Berber villages. Then we will go to visit the Ait Benhaddou village, the fortified ksar with it’s beautiful Kasbahs. Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural decoration for many movies producers since 1960’s. Once you get to Ait Benhaddou, then you have lunch at one of the restaurants of the Kasbahs . After, we continue our tour to Dades valley . Overnight at Hotel or Riad.
2nd day : Dades valley –Tenghir – Tafilalet – Merzouga(Camel ride – Night in desert)
Morocco Desert Trip
After breakfast, we will be heading towards from Dades gorge to the Merzouga desert . Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga. after relaxing few minutes ,we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums music in the middle of the dunes ,this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise, when we arrive at the camp we go to a high dunes to see the sunset , we will spend the night in the berber nomad tents .
3rd Day : Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After seeing the sunrise in desert and after breakfast we go back on the camels to Merzouga then Start our journey backing to Ouarzazate . On the way; we visit the Berber shops containing fossils, carpets, lamps, leather… Tinjdad, todra gorges, Boumalene Dades we arrive to Ouarzazate in the afternoon, after visiting ,we will continue to Marrakech. the end tour: Morocco Desert Travel.
