4 Days Tour Marrakech Desert


We pick you up at 8 a.m. and travel to Merzouga. We pass by Ifrane, a beautiful village, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” and make a stop in Azrou, a famous Berber village in the Cedar woods to enjoy the view and see the Barbary apes. We stop in Midelt for lunch and continue towards Erfoud. During this journey you can admire the amazing landscape of the Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Valley. We arrive to the Merzouga desert late in the afternoon. There you will take a camel ride to get to the heart of the desert and also be able to admire the beautiful sunset. At night you will have a delicious Berber dinner and enjoy a great campfire party with drums and Berber songs. You will spend the night in a nomad tent under a beautiful sky studded with stars.


Morocco desert road continues today in the desert. In the morning you can watch a beautiful sunrise, walk over the sand dunes and admire the amazing landscape of the Sahara Desert. After breakfast we start by going around the Erg Chebbi. Stop at Tissardmine oasis where we can find fossil excavations. We head towards a Berber settlement to spend some time with the desert nomads and learn their secrets and manners. The next stop is Khamlia where we will see a show of Gnawa music. Late in the afternoon you will be transferred to the camp.


In the morning you can watch a beautiful sunrise, walk over the sand dunes and admire the amazing landscape of the desert. After breakfast we go through the palm groves to Rissani to visit the marketplace (open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), and continue to Erfoud to visit the manufactures of fossilized marble. We will reach the Todgha Gorge, the highest narrowest canyon in Morocco, have lunch and walk through the Gorge to appreciate the wonderful landscape. In the afternoon we head towards the Dades Valley, have dinner and spend the night in Boumalne Dades.


Morocco desert road continues today and after breakfast we can enjoy a stunning panorama of the Dades Valley. We will drive through Kalaat M’Gouna, the Roses Valley and the “One Thousand Kasbahs Road”, where we can appreciate 17th-century kasbahs. We visit Ouarzazate and if you are interested, we can visit the cinema studios and the cinema museum. We stop for lunch in Ait Benhaddou, a famous village designated a world heritage site by the UNESCO and the setting for many Hollywood movies. We arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and transfer you to the hotel.
